Our big and tasty, fun and rockin' chili party is coming up. Little less than a month away. March 7th will be the day to taste some of the best chili on the east coast. With some great music thrown in, this will be a great time. It's a 20 dollar donation at the door for Dayna Padula, and that gets you all the beer food and chili you can eat. Southern fury, Fainting Chair and Devil You Know will be our entertainment for the night. So be there when the doors open at 7:30 so you can get all that food. See you there!!!

Happy New year folks. Sorry for the long delay been a hectic holiday for us all. We all hope that everyone had a great holiday season. Some news to get on the way. Dues are to be paid by the end of this month. This is a must for all members. Get in touch with Kevin Noah on that. Also we have two parties coming up quickly. March 7th is the current date for the rockin' chili party. Those who were around last year can tell you that this is a party no one should miss. Also on the same date we have The Passaic County Police and Fire Emerald Society will be hosting their 17th annual corned beef and cabbage dinner on March 7, 2009 at 7:00 PM. I'm unsure as to which party will be moved around or if they both will be on the same date. Either way it's going to be a fun night..

The halloween party was this past weekend and we had some great costumes. Rocky came as frankenstein and Doug was the best looking hick around. Some very sexy costumes as well. I'd like to thank the Reno Sheriff's Department for joining our party and supporting us. We had more than enough food which just means we didn't have enough people show up. The four different kegs was a nice touch and went around nicely. Good choice who ever decided on that.

October is off to a great start. September was a busy month with school starting back up and the summer slowly coming to a close. With fall coming quickly, the big thing on everyones mind is the best party of the year. Halloween. October 25th is the Blue Knights halloween party. Costume contests, flowing drinks, great food, loud bands and gorgeous women. Let's just hope Doug leaves the sweater at home this time around.

For those of you who can remember, I don't have to tell you how great the pig roast was. For those of you who missed it, you missed some amazing food, and some great raffled out prizes. For those of you like me, you probably woke up with a bit of a hang over but with a big smile on your face. The music was outstanding, the food was better than ever and the crowd was filled with great friends and clubs from all around. Though with a beautiful day, we all wondered why Doug never took off his sweater.

This is a busy busy month for us. Knights of fire have runs on the 10th and the 17th. Anyone who wants to go just get in touch with dough. We also this month have the pig roast and 10th anniversary party. A huge event lasting all day. Remember it's 20 bucks at the door with all the food and beer you can have. Live entertainment from some great bands and all of your favorite blue knights.

We are entering the one month countdown for our 10th year anniversary party and pig roast. August 23rd will be a day for people to talk about for years. Our pig roast last year was a party that lasted all day and is still being talked about. We hope to break attendance records and pack the place. So we hope to see everyone on the 23rd to have some great food, listen to some good music and have the best time of the year.

Sorry for the delay on the next update. May was a bit of a hectic month. And how about that Comedy de Mayo. The place was packed. The Comedians who donated their time were very funny and we thank all of you for helping make this event so amazing. Even with standing room only, food and beer was in excess. Delicious food kept people coming back for seconds, thirds and fourths. The beer was flowing all night and it was a good thing too, got a little warm. We'd like to thank everyone who showed up for the comedy de mayo and supported Katie and her family. June is off to a strong start. The heat wave has passed and hopefully we will get back to the normal 60's and 70's we are used to in jersey.

April is off to a good start. Weather seems to be controlled by Sybil. It has no idea where it's going. 70 30 60 20. But we were very fortunate to have been given a break for our great start of season party. It poured the night before and gave us clear warm weather all day. An other great turnout. Too many people showing up but we won't ever complain because of that. The bands were rocking all night and from my view everyone seemed to be having a great time. Beer was flowing and Food was good while it lasted.

As we are coming to the end of March, It has been a good month. Our rockin' Chili party was a great success. So many people showed up we actually ran out of food. But we had more than enough chili.
Thursday nights have been quiet, but we've been able to become better friends than we thought could happen. Coming up in April we have our start of the season party on the 12th. Fistacuffs will be there along with some great food and a lot of alcohol. Be sure to bring your friends and come early.
This year we celebrate our tenth anniversary. After ten years of being together, chapter 17, is still going strong and is still the best chapter around.
